FAQs

Excessive rules and high fees have resulted in skyrocketing healthcare costs. Patients pay expensive insurance premiums yet still cannot afford care due to high deductibles and co-pays. To make matters worse, patients have no idea what their out-of-pocket costs are until they receive a surprise bill months later.
We take a simpler approach. By starting to eliminate third parties from our practice, we reduce our administrative costs and pass these savings onto you. Patients know upfront what they will pay for their care. We call this price transparency. There are no surprise bills or statements that show up after the visit.
Patients with high deductibles or no insurance will likely find that our fees are significantly lower than what they are currently paying out-of-pocket. For those who have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a “superbill” so that you can submit an insurance claim for possible reimbursement.

Since we will be opted out of ALL Medicare plans as of October 1, 2022, we will contract directly with patients and will not bill Medicare for any of our services. You will be asked to sign a private contract with Comprehensive Center for Dermatology acknowledging that any form of Medicare cannot and will not be billed for services provided at CCDerm.
You may still use your Medicare coverage for ancillary services like pathology, bloodwork, and prescriptions ordered by Dr. Conde and for all of your other care provided by participating physicians.
If you have a supplemental plan, please note that you will not be able to submit for reimbursement from your supplemental plan.

Absolutely! However, many of our patients find our pathology fees, laboratory fees and prescription costs are lower than those billed through their insurance.
-
Pathology fees, if required, are charged separately from your office visit. While insurance companies typically bill around $200 for this, our fee is currently a flat $65 collected at the time of your visit. You may choose to use your insurance or pay the cash fee, whichever is better for you.

Those insured by Medicare or Medicaid cannot submit claims for reimbursement.
Patients with commercial health insurance may submit claims to their insurer retroactively, however, CCDerm makes no representation that you will be reimbursed for these claims. We recommend that you check with your insurance company regarding out-of-network benefits before submitting any claims.
Upon request, we can provide a “superbill” for you after your visit to submit your claim for the major private insurers.

You will always see a physician, Dr. Conde - a Board Certified Dermatologist - at CCDerm. Dr. Conde believes all patients deserve the absolute best care provided by the most highly trained professionals in dermatology. You will never see a midlevel provider for your care.

The best and easiest way at this time is to call for an appointment or request an appointment online and our office will call you to schedule.
Patients will soon be able to schedule all of their appointments online themselves.
